Desiree Valenzuela- Caez

–

Winter Haven, Florida

In the words of Mark Twain, "The reports of my death have been greatly exaggerated." Unfortunately for us, Desiree Valenzuela- Caez, our local realist and a veritable force of nature, wasn't so lucky. Born on March 24th, 1987, a day that henceforth became a beacon of light and laughter in our lives, Desiree has now taken her undeniable wit and unstoppable loyalty to a venue that is, well, a bit more celestial than her beloved Winter Haven, Florida.

Desiree was the embodiment of the phrase, "when she had your back, there was nothing she wouldn't do for you." An award-winning Mommy; she took home the gold every single day. Her children, Jovani Caez, Jordan Coronando, Mya Caez, Elia Garcia, Evoleht Ramirez, and Eden Ramirez, were her world. And boy, did she know how to turn that world into a non-stop amusement park. From impromptu karaoke nights to unexpected nature trips, life with Desiree was a roller-coaster ride that never knew a dull moment.

She is survived by an adoring entourage that includes her sister Teena Valenzuela, brother David Valenzuela (also nephew by the same name, it’s a family thing), cousin Leticia Montes, and several adoring nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosa Montes, to whom she has now gone to share more laughter and joy.
