Michael Cunningham Jr.

With profound sorrow, we announce the passing of Michael Tyrone Cunningham Jr., also fondly known as "Big Mike," who made his heavenly transition on October 11, 2023. Born on April 2nd, 1996, in the “City Beautiful” Orlando, Florida, Michael lived a life that was as warm and vibrant as his birthplace. He was a young man who embodied the values of humility and love, and his thoughtful and supportive nature touched the lives of all who knew him.

In his 27 years, Michael created a legacy of kindness and service. He found his calling in helping others, where he dedicated two years to medical administration. With every interaction, he demonstrated his commitment to supporting the health and well-being of others. He was not only a pillar of support in his profession but also a cornerstone in his family and friends' lives, which he valued most. His heart was a haven for those lucky enough to know him, tenderly nurturing relationships with his humility and love. His laughter was infectious, his spirit was inspiring, and his presence a comfort.

Michael is survived by a host of loving family members including his mother: Tracy Roberts, his father: Michael (Jackie) Cunningham, his siblings: Teneisha, Teneil, Marcus, and Ryane Cunningham, his grandparents: Nadine (Tommy) Merriweather, James Roberts and Nadine Neal, his aunts: Teresa (Les) Hill, Tonya Roberts, Scharita (Vernon) Greene, and April (Keith) White, his uncles: Terry Roberts, Scott Cunningham, Bernard Cunningham, and Noah Cunningham. He was preceded in death by his beloved grandfather, Clifford Taylor.

Michael’s celebration of life will be held at Inspirational Life Ministries, located at 1602 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando, Florida, 32805 on Saturday, October 28th, 2023, at 1:00 pm EDT. Following the service, his interment will be at Washington Park Cemetery, located at 2700 Bruton Boulevard, Orlando, Florida, 32805, at 3:00 pm EDT.
