Yvonne E Lapp

Yvonne E. Lapp (Stanton), known to her family and friends as Bonnie or Bon, passed away peacefully on October 27, 2025.

Bonnie was born July 26, 1943, in Walton, NY to Vance and Mildred Rivenburg Hessinger. She was predeceased by her parents, her siblings, Walter, Joan, Irene, and Karen, her husband, Tyrone Stanton Sr. and her son, Alan Stanton.

Bonnie is survived by her son, Tyrone Stanton, Jr.; her cousins Millard (Midge) Harris, Arlene Curtis, and Pam (Bill) Brodsky; and her forever best friend “Hoagie”, Karen Feltman.

Bonnie loved her boys and chose to stay at home to raise them rather than go out of the home to work. She made plenty of opportunities for fun, laughter, and time together to create wonderful memories for her, her family and friends. After moving to Florida, Bonnie worked as a medical assistant.

You always knew where you stood with Bonnie and she didn’t hesitate to speak up when you needed to readjust your attitude or actions!

Bonnie will be sorely missed by her family and those who knew and loved her.

A Celebration of Life will be held later at the convenience of the family.
